Started talking to an old ex of mine again recently. She's one the of the realest, happiest and most down to earth people I've ever met... despite having three kids and working 50+ hours a week.
I was asking her about it and she's like "I just choose to be happy... it's too easy to be depressed and bitch and moan all the time".
Another ex of mine has everything going for her, great job, great dancer with an esteemed company... lives in the heart of a vibrant city, but is miserable and on anti depressants.
Really opened my eyes to how your mind set plays a huge role in everything.
Yea, unfortunately depression can have that effect. I suffer from depression and when it's not hitting me hard I am one of those types of people, but when it does I'm just kind of there. ---
