Usually these changes happen to fit an actual purpose, but you just want superficial change for the sake of change. The purpose of abolishing ICE would be creating an agency that respects human rights and due process, doesn't lock up and deport thousands of US citizens, and isn't hated by a majority of the country. No one is saying we don't need any immigration enforcement whatsoever. What we don't need is ICE.
