TopicWhen you go to a restaurant and you get bad service, do you tip less?

It honestly depends on the service. Were they noticeably busy, but did their best to make the experience enjoyable? Was the restaurant a little short-staffed and apologetic about the wait? Or did they just ignore us/me and cop an attitude to questions?

If the former two, I usually tip 15% or more to help out, even if my experience was sub-par. If the latter, I don't tip and pay in cash so they can't make a scene out of it online.

Customer service is everything. If you at least try to help, that's all I can ask for. If you don't try, don't expect me to help out.
