I guess I got to a point where it was like, if a piece does something does it even really matter? When the piece Eva apologizes to Ange in 8 for being so bad as a parent, it doesn't actually matter because that's not even the actual Eva. And that's even more compromised because Battler made the pieces in 8 to be especially nice. But THEN, a lot of that stuff is just representations of Ange's internal conflicts over her feelings. here's the thing - by this logic, there is no "actual Eva" at all maybe the ep 3 tea party Eva is "real" and maybe the ep7 tea party Eva is real but other than that, NO eva you see in the game is real - and that's the point. The ep8 Eva is just as valid of an interpretation as all the others But that's the point of episode 8 - you can decide [Magic] aka "this Eva is real and her feelings are real and she really does love Ange and regret everything"... or, what you've seemingly chosen, [Trick] ...
