If it's obvious that they have talent and that they should be great doing a trade, I won't do the stupid shit of pushing them to do a degree just because they aren't sure what to do. 2. I pay the initial degree. If they "change their mind because I wasn't sure" = They pay for it. 3. Any indication that they're wasting their time (drinking/partying/etc.) and it affects their grades = They pay for it. 4. Any failed class = They pay for it. 5. Any crap spewing that they're becoming indoctrinated by Marxism = They pay for it. Once they are DONE with their studies, the real world hits them, and they want to make decisions about being useles (sjw), then they're welcome to be useless activist as much as they want. 6.
