I think I came into Combat Evolved with high expectations which it couldn't fulfill, and I started this one kind of dreading it because I feel like it's the least talked about Halo. I felt the switching between characters was neat (although the story did get convoluted at some point because of it) and I enjoyed that I was pushed to use a wider variety of weapons, rather than just keeping the same gun(s) like I did in CE. I've also mastered the "oh it's a vehicle/Flood level I guess I'll just skip through the entirety of it" trick, which is pretty necessary to have fun in those levels.
