It's pretty clear that she's doing so because she thinks it'll backfire politically, but I think the case that there would be backlash is extremely weak. CelesMyUserName posted... I think people have been growing more and more tired of Pelosi's do-nothing leadership these last few months, it'd be cool if people are pissed off enough to notice her primary challenger. Under the recent midterms, the understandable issue was that there's nobody better vying for her position, and hopefully her shitty display this year starts bringing people forward. Primarying Pelosi would be super dumb though.
