Yeah I really don't understand the "dating is all new and we have no tools to equip us for this journey" idea. Like, in every conceivable way dating is infinitely easier than it used to be. Our parents used to have no choice but to go out and meet people, if there even were any good meeting places where they lived. We live in a world where you can just fire up an app and at least have a shot (if small) of finding someone desirable. To say nothing of stuff like mutuals on social media, which is actually how I met my girlfriend of five years.

The whole incel crowd just strikes me as a mentally ill group with zero self-worth, zero value to society and zero efforts to improve themselves who for some reason feel entitled to bang a different super model every night and are experiencing major cognitive dissonance due to the world not lining up with their warped views. In another time, any one of them would've just been a social outcast or a village idiot, but the magic of the internet has allowed them to congregate and validate one another.
