Like I've said before, my brother used to live in an apartment building where maybe 2/3s the residents were on Section-8, with many having off-book incomes including dealing drugs right in the building. Even with what I consider a good reason I was hesitant to apply because I didn't want to be a moocher. I dunno maybe I'll try again with the backing of a lawyer. Yeah ive qualified for food stamps and probably even welfare a few times in life would never take it though. Id just swallow my pride and ask for help from family.
