Gimme Shelter is actually my fave Rolling Stones song. Hard to believe it's from 1969. It has a sound that made me think it was from the late 70s/early 80s. jumi posted... I expected Spirit in the Sky for 69. Definitely his most well-known song. Possibly his only well-known song.
