Basically, his CO told him that, if they don't use up millions of dollars of equipment, the next allotted budget will shrink. So they took the remaining stock of rocket launchers and drones, and played the world's most expensive round of clay shooting. So that they could spend more money next time, which they will then blow on destroying rocket launchers and drones. I'm enlisting and that shit still sounds super fucked up.
