He's intentionally trying to make people think he jumped only to fake his death so when he comes back, a lot of eyes will be on his videos. Of course he's going to make excuses to the cops so he probably won't face any significant legal repercussions, saying stuff like "My belongings were on the bridge because I got cold feet, decided not to do it, and just wanted to get away. So I went on a private, personal journey, away from everything and everyone for awhile."
