There's a reason why JonTron quotes and gifs and whatever else keep turning up in otherwise unrelated discussions: like SpongeBob and The Simpsons, there's so much material to work with that you could probably find a relevant quote for any situation. Of Matt Groening's work, Futurama is consistently his best, but also the least relevant' if that makes sense.

Some recurring Futurama quotes include:
"Shut up and take my money!"
"Your [x] is bad and you should feel bad."
"I have no strong feelings one way or the other."

And these are fine enough, but the problem for me is that they can be detatched from their source material with little consequence. I wonder how many people would really associate that first quote with Philip J. Fry if not for the memetic image that accompanies it. On the contrary, and for anyone familiar with his videos, Jon's dialogue and delivery are almost inseperable. Jon is just so uniquely Jon that you can probably paint a vivid mental image of the video when reading one of his quotes. Don't believe me?

"You're officially that guy. Okay, you know the one. You go to the bar and he's like, 'Ehh, this suit is officially a Giorgio Armani. Actually my dad knows 'em and--' FUCK YOU!
