I wrote an algorithm that will definitely win at Tic-Tac-Toe 8 out of 9 times when allowed to go first and at least stalemates any other time. I then analyzed that scene from War Games to see why the computer was having so much difficulty. The reason is that it always started in the center square. --- No locked doors, no windows barred.
