It's just that, if there's a neat thing for $50, and a similar neat thing for $5, it's sensible to buy the one for $5. I have no problem with devs wanting to make money! It's a tough world, you do what works for you. If a dev gets better profits from saying "I will never lower the price below $50" then I'm not mad and I wish them well. But I'm not buying the game for $50 unless I'm convinced it brings me something unique/special that's better than getting 10 $5 games on sale. --- another place and time, without a great divide, and we could be flying deadly high ...
