Welcome to, at long last, my 1000 song rankings! This has been a long time in the making and I hope it will be worth the wait.

Firstly, I must explain my scoring system. There are four categories that a song can earn points in: Personal, Stickiness, Newness and Bonus.

Personal: A traditional measure of how much I like a song from 0-10, quantized to tenths (yes, I know this means that there are 101 possible scores instead of 100 but shut up).

Stickiness: A term borrowed from Snake, it's a measure of how invested I am in the song, how unique it is, how memorable it is, etc. It's partially designed to avoid the mediocrity trap I fell into in my last rankings, and will hopefully let less generic songs shine. Measured from 0-4, quantized to tenths.

Newness: A simply trinary scale of how well I know the song already. 0 means I'm very familiar, 1 indicates that I've heard it in some capacity but wouldn't necessarily recognize it, and 2 says that I've effectively never heard it before.

Bonus: A fudge factor added to adjust rankings I feel are unfair, to reward songs that I don't personally like but recognize are better than I may have implied, and to make the total points add up. Binary, either 0 or 2/3.

To get the total score, I add up all the points a song earned and multiply it by six to get a value out of 100.
