Flashback to Chiaki losing control and blowing up the city- Ouran High School Host Club wanted to save her but since she was the one doing the exploding he got overruled and teleported out. We got her later. Now Chiaki is recovered and Auron is dying because he's dying. Chiaki looks a little smug about wiping her hometown off the map before having a breakdown about it. That means it's time for Sexy Angel Man to show up and try to encourage her to keep living but also offer to have her gloriously killed if she'd prefer. There's an attack on wherever it is that we are these days! Da Doo Ron Ron is going out in Unit 02 despite being on death's door. Lucy the Scary Maid is the first line of defense and Chiaki is running around worried for her of all people. The attacking force is attempting to avenge the death of the demon kid from the end of last volume. O-Ren Ishii reminds us that he is injured and weak, then one-shots the attacking group. Lucy has also bloodlessly subdued the group attacking her offscreen. Some angel lookin' dude rallies them. More action things happen- I thought they were flashbacks because they have black background, but it appears to mostly fit what is currently happening, or, I dunno, and I don't really care anymore. Nyoro~n continues whining about his wounds and beating up everybody while simultaneously having a heartfelt talk with Chiaki. A kiss happens and we continue kicking around the dad that is trying to avenge his son. Chiaki is the same kind of horrible kill-doing person as Oro~ because she has been killing monsters with her talisman (mentioned in vol. 1 but didn't seem functional, or otherwise important enough to mention in my writeup) since she was little. blah blah killing dying living forgiving blah. The Jobber Brigade has gotten tired of being a Jobber Brigade, and summons Ganimaaru, which is apparently really bad news. Meanwhile in an office building, people are looking for Othello but he's probably busy with his new plaything. We've finally found O-Ron Swanson! (look the Oronron puns can't all be winners ok) We barge in on Othello to tell him we're shipping out, but there's blood all over the bedroom and one of them is stepping on the other one and there's an extra eye.
