And the reason: no one posts here. Most people barely remember this place exists. Elsewhere across the internet there are few observations I could make that other people haven't made, and they're almost certainly better at it than me because they've leveled up their social media skill tree. But CE is trash. On CE I'm pretty much the best some of CE can hope for, and I really see the benefit my continued presence has fostered these past few years. Real talk though, being on those sites constantly is bad for your brain chemistry. A lot of what happens there has a lot in common to what your brain does with drug addiction. And the social media is specifically engineered to encourage addiction-like behavior. Several million dollars are spent exploring the big data they're collected from people like us to make it easier and easier for us to develop unhealthy user habits, and I'm not so delusional as to think I'm immune.
