The change of pace was refreshing. I think for awhile, all adventure games at a certain era were trying to follow on the Ravenhearst fad, which would explain all the scary shit in the past. My only complaint is that some puzzles required revisiting whenever you returned to that location. It wasn't as annoying as Icicle Creek's cafeteria, but it could've done without it. I believe this is also the first use of Currency and minigame to make money.
