I understand that we can't expect STEM students to be scholars of literature, but I do expect our colleges to teach everyone how to understand language beyond its literal meaning. Everyone can read Trump's Tweets and figure out the best possible interpretation via giving him every benefit of the doubt, but he has literally never earned that, and consistently proves his detractors correct that he is the world's most successful Goofus. --- Phantom Dust.
