That's potent enough for scum even if they can't pick the easiest mislynch to target, which they could if Corrik were scum. Plus I think his actions today have felt more like town. He was noticeably deflated by IGCD revealing the track was fake and has been having to scramble to both figure things out and justify why Ulti still needs to be lynched over him.
