CHECK Lmao no Even as a joke, no Yeah.... not even close. Squaresoft made better JRPGs, not Square Enix. The merger killed all creativity both companies had. I dont Know the Dragon Quest games are still good. Dragon Quest 8 I'll give you that. 9 kind of went downhill a bit but it was portable on a system that didn't offer much option to work with. Dragon Quest 11 and I'll get a lot of flak for saying this, isn't as good as some people made it out to be. Sure there are great moments, but 3 in particular really irked me. The soundtrack being held hostage by the composer being one, so while you had all these great songs, everything was pushed into Midi because he wanted to sell concert tickets. Now, that said, fans of the game have resolved this issue on PC and I'm grateful for that. Another is the timeline.When you get separated and your grandfather is found on top of the mountain, and you find out only 6 months have passed. I would have rather seen 2-3 years passing, for the separation effect to really take hold, but again, that's a minor one And finally the dialogue choices.
