They would uphold 100% of the time because why the hell wouldn't they, in which case you appeal to a random lead mod, who actually has a decent chance of overturning in my experience. But if you have appealed to a lead mod then you were locked out of it for a month or whatever. Dantezoid posted... I think this is a fine idea but I'm worried that long term number of votes will be lower than people think Hopefully they have some system on the mod side to incentivize voting. But still, I have found that when you get your moderation in front of another mod, it's really quite likely that they will overturn it if it genuinely isn't a violation. It was just hard to do that before. The 2/3rd requirement is pretty steep but I do think it will still lead to many more overturns.
