GameFAQs

GameFAQs is a website that hosts FAQs and walkthroughs for video games.
Each page is categorized under video game categories, and you can find all answers on that page. The site was started in 2006 as a means to answer a couple of questions of players asking for the best games of 2002. The site also offers information on the various different kinds of video games. In 2012 the site expanded its coverage into a new section entitled "Videogames. Some are better than some and some are better than none." For more information about the site see GameFAQs.com.

The site was started by Paul Fischbeck, a programmer who wrote about video game systems for an AtariAge article. The site's name was inspired by the fact that "games" often start with titles that use the term "Gamedev", which is a play on "games", as in "Gamedev", or "developer", as well as "wiki", as in the word wikipedia. Fischbeck later created the other part of the name "games forums".

The term "Videogames" is frequently given to an article or website that does not include video games in its coverage of a video game. When discussing video games on GameFAQs, one can use terms such
