Hmmm... I'll set the idea of Tifa boosting in the legends bracket to the side. There's not enough data to have a good analysis on it, though it is compelling because it better explains why Tifa beating Sephiroth and I don't have to assume Samus overperformed on Snake. Plus, it would mean Mario rSFFed Samus, which might make sense. But there's a huge amount of data it affects, though it kind of fits KKP's theory that Sephiroth really does suck hard and that he overperformed on Ryu. Ammy, Captain Falcon, and Wesker all seem a little low, but then again, these x-stats are not connected to Tifa at all.

It still bothers me, though.... Mario got 59% on Sephy. Cloud got 60% on Alucard. (Cloud narrowly beat Mario, as a reminder) It's hard for me to wrap my head around these two results. Sephiroth being on BOWSER's level when the other FF7 characters did so well is just.... crazy. Putting Sephiroth vs. Ryu aside, Sephiroth got 61% on Ammy, 65% on Captain Falcon, and 70% on Wesker. Could Bowser pull that off? Maybe he could get close... perhaps Ammy could be on par with Ness. But Captain Falcon has been at least on Ness's level from 2008 and on.... Wesker could be that weak, I guess.

Hmmmm...ahhh, maybe Mario got a bit of a boost from Oddysey in his first match, but the excitement wore off afterwards! Maybe Mario overperformed by 2-3% on Sephiroth? That's my best guess at this point. I think this makes more sense than Sephiroth weakening in the Legends bracket.

Hmmmmmm....if we extrapolate Sephiroth from Sephiroth/Tifa, Mario gets about 55.5% on Sephiroth. Adjusting Sephiroth accordingly allows for more reasonable measurements to Ammy/Falcon/Wesker. Interesting. Maybe I should stick with the original Legends Tifa adjustment.... perhaps I'll post some of the new x-stats in a couple days.
