Gallant Gunshot is a fairly bland song to me. The instrumentation is exciting in that fake FM synth sort of way, but it doesn't stick with me at all - I much prefer last year's Zenith or other works by Yasui. It comes just shy of this sweeping heroic song but never quite makes the leap for me.

Invitation Flower ~ Autumn is the only remaining Atelier song I like. The intro immediately draws me in and the piano combines with the "world music" elements to make an immersive experience. It's not a perfect song - I don't love the big chordy surge before the (fakeout) loop, for one thing - but it's enough to get the job done here.

Here it is, my least favorite match of round 3. It is a literal crime that one of these songs has to move on. Literal arrests should be made. These songs should be led out in literal handcuffs.

Anyway, I hate the instrumentation in Aliens Go Home (Run). With different non-abrasive samples, this could be much higher, which is a shame: the song has a lot of energy and fun to it. I could see myself getting into the bridge part, when the melody changes up. But that instrumentation utterly destroys the song.

And yet I'm still voting for it! Where the Sky Ended is stereotypical "music I dislike" - loud guitar, lots of noisy instruments competing with each other, uninspired production and composition. Every time I listen to this I hunger for the end of it.
