I mean, that is the next best solution if you don't want the baby, but the public doesn't want to foot the bill of foster care.

Even among your usual smathering of stupid topics, this stands out as being particularly egregious. *Babies* are almost always in high demand. Finding a placement for a newborn is easy, it's placing older children that's hard.

ummm, you do know that babies become older children

ummm, you do know that adopted babies have families when they become older

I think hea trying to say most parents want babies, but not older kids. This can be for many reasons, but it is true that the older kids can sometimes get passed over when people wanting to be parents go to an orphanage or whatever... They do have a chance to be adopted, but usually if theyre younger.

Babies do go fast, but thats if they are adopted. If they get there at a bad time, they might be older than what the parent want. Not to mention that adoptions are a long process, IIRC...

I am pro abortion unless A: You want the child, will take being a parent seriously and provide for it

or

B: You contact someone who wants the child and will take it, care for it, and be a good parent.

If neither of the above conditions are met, I find it cruel and unusual punishment to bring a life into this world that will not be loved and cared for. Every child should be cherished and given love it's entire life, it is far, far worse to give birth to a baby and then ignore it and let it suffer, then to ensure the baby is never born.

The obvious solution is to just make sure all children are adopted by loving parents, but since that has not worked throughout history, I suggest just ensuring no accidental pregnancies happen at all, and any aborptions that are performed include tying tubes etc, to ensure it does not happen again until desired.

Personally, I wouldnt go that far. Just make sure they have ways to prevent it with birth control. If they wanted to give them the arm one, that would be fine, too. To actually tie her tubes would be weird... Unless they also gave the guy a vasectomy... Though, it would still be weird. Might as well do both people, right? Its not only one person making the baby... But I would go with arm birth control before tying tubes. Because even though its reversible, birth control would probably be better...
