Stop. You know exactly how ridiculous this argument is. Nobody wants it to be exactly the same. They want it to be an evolution of the original. Changing it to an action RPG when the full remakes Square has done (FF 3 and 4) were upgraded turn based is weird and isn't an evolution, though it is somewhat expected since its Nomura. Don't pretend that if they showed off an upgraded TB trailer instead of ARPG that you would have been surprised, or that because it wasn't "exactly the same" that people would be outraged. People have the right to be disappointed just as people have the right to be excited, because at this point we have no idea whether it's going to be good or bad. All we know is that it is going to be different.
I mean technically, yeah.
But people have already been saying that the game automatically sucks because it's not turn based despite nobody having played it.
