I don't know why you think that. They look at your credit score, income, and current debt and determine whether it is feasible for you to make the monthly payments. People frequently take larger loans than $100k just to buy a house, and it is totally normal And almost all kids entering college have no income, no credit history, and no debt history. And they are approved virtually unanimously.
