I feel like they might make a special exception if it was literally a Stark on the throne. She's basically saying "the north will never be ruled by a Stark and must instead be ruled by a Stark." Like I would understand if it was literally anyone else but it seems a bit strange that they're taking their ball and going home when it is Bran on the throne. the king would be beholden to all of the seven kingdoms(and especially after Bran). The North doesn't give a shit about anyone but the North. ShatteredElysium posted... Also surprised Yara didn't do the same. Said this before, but the other kingdoms would never accept an independent Iron Islands because of their propensity for violence and invading. They are basically a part of this so they could be kept in check.
