| WiggumFan267 05/20/19 3:57:19 PM #274: | something like a huge wide boycott just won't ever happen though. it's completely out of the realm of possibility. the attendance numbers are small and have been going down. i really don't think it makes a big difference. i'm sure it affects them to some degree but in the end, I doubt it would even do anything, unless like not a single person went to a game for 3+ years. and then what's going to happen? they'd probably just move the team or something. I really don't think that is the solution and it only serves as self-imposed punishment. This should not be the responsibility of the fans to worry about. And like I said, I don't really think it would do anything. They're already too big for something like that to affect them. They're also immune to being ousted via scandal apparently as Madoff's has shown, and the sexual discrimination lawsuit has shown.
