dancer62 05/17/19 12:24:21 AM #2:	Doom is the original, yeah, I know, Wolfenstein, Catacomb, Blake Stone, etc, but Doom is where it took off, and sold tons of 386s to play it (you can do your word processing and spreadsheets on an 8088 or 286, but to play Doom, you need a 386). Duke 3D and Shadow Warrior are great fun (you no mess with Lo Wang), but not pick up and play to the same extent as Doom, really a different kind of game.
