Vargas and Matz are both going to be out a couple weeks minimum, they are going to be at 3 starters and their response to it is to call up the same batch of 4-5 guys they always call up when this happens - Flexen/Gagnon/Oswalt and the likes, and they are always horrible. They're not doing anything about it. This is a team that acted to "win now" by trading away its future and they literally refuse to spend any more. I really don't understand how MLB can allow owners to complete ruin its team like this. If this were a team that was not trying to "win now" it would make sense to do what they are doing.
