Im actively starting to dread a Rick win right now, because its looking like he would be a somehow-LESS deserving champion than Ben, yet the edit is so shitty for everyone else, I cant imagine another winner. He'd be less deserving than Ben because he was voted out before anyone knew the buyback existed. It might be a little different if he were voted out post-merge and became the late game buyback because EoE was known to the players at that point so there is some strategy in who to send and when, as well as potentially some strategy in letting yourself get sent there, however dumb that strategy is. But he was voted out pre-merge under normal circumstances with the expectation that he was going to Losers Lounge. It's why Wendell isn't automatically Ben-tier because the format change was known to the contestants on 36 from the start.
