I feel like I heard we were supposed to get three DGS games at one point. Was that not the case? Am I misremembering? Was the third one cancelled? I'm not quite done game 2 yet, but it seems like it's going to solve all the remaining mysteries from the first game.

I'm up to case 4 now in DGS2. Case 3 was pretty good, but I liked the first half a good amount more than the second half. The additional complications weren't that interesting here. And I'm not sure how I feel about the game's overall plot. I have pretty much zero interest in the case from ten years ago, unless we get a really exciting twist, like Sherlock is actually Moriarty and is both the killer from 10 years ago and the true identity of the reaper. I don't think that'll happen though. I feel like I might've felt the same way about the older case in AA6 too. The truth behind it was so obvious and uninteresting that the last case got less interesting when it started to focus on that aspect.

Case 4 is quite good so far though when it's not focusing on those aspects! Having a prosecutor that's basically 100% on your side is a super fun change of pace.
