I hope not. I don't want to see any of that macho shit. The last thing we need now is for someone to get hurt. Also it's baseball, not boxing. Hoskins seemed pretty ticked after the game. I guess its possible Rhame tried to him on purpose (worst case, he wanted to hit his back but missed high) but it's more likely he was just trying to pitch tight inside and missed, since the Phillies had been pitching us tight and inside (and missing) our last 5 games.

Again,completely unacceptable that the Wilpons are unwilling to spend on GIO who is not costly at all, let alone someone like Keuchel , who would immensely help this team, to give the much-needed depth. Again, the man have designated as their 5th starter, they could not trust to go more than 75 pitches in an outing where he looked his best (because they know he starts struggling badly 3rd time through the order). You cannot go through a full season with a guy you can't trust to throw more than 75 pitches under any circumstance as your 5th starter, when you have literally zero options for any starters beyond your 5th. He costs ONLY money. It's completely baseball-criminal to do what the Wilpons are doing to this team.

I suspect Brodie will address it at some point, but it'll probably be via a trade where they have to give up solid prospects in order to bring in a mediocre veteran (along the lines of Gio)... but the fact it has to come to that is bullshit. They do this all the time and it's why their farm system is usually terrible- because they're giving up players they shouldn't have to all the damn time when they can solve their issues just by paying for some goddamn depth. It's almost like they care more about money than winning. Ugh.
