man, the mets pitching is so broken. all of it. I think every single pitcher in the entire staff is having the worst year of their career so far (except Diaz). Even Vargas, which is saying a ton.

Wheeler is starting to come around. Matz only had one bad start so far, although it was a really bad one. And the bullpen seems pretty typical so far except for Familia. He's been awful for sure.

they have the worst starter ERA in the NL, 0.60 points away from the team 2 spots above them, and the 2nd worst bullpen ERA in the NL. Their pitching up and down is a disaster right now. Wheeler had 2 cataclysmic starts followed by 2 fine starts. I wouldn't call that coming around yet. Matz's most recent start is more typical of the kind of pitcher he is - as soon as he gets in trouble he falls apart. Noah has been extremely bad, and deGrom has been affected by his elbow issue apparently.

The bullpen is 10000000% not "pretty typical" unless you mean their bullpen is typically a disaster (which it is a lot tbf). It's like no one in the bullpen can get an out except for Diaz, and its so badly managed by Callaway. Everyone in the bullpen has been awful. Everyone in the rotation has been awful.

You also seem to have ignored Vargas who has made several appearances, and Flexen who had to make a spot start yetserday, and as of now is the first "go to guy" to start when they need a fill in guy (which will be very often given injuries and needing to get pushed back a day and the like). This team cannot claim they are competing when they are auto-punting every 5th day with Vargas, plus punting anytime one of the other 4 doesn't make a start with Flexen or whatever non-MLB player they call up to fill-in. This means the other 4 have to be 100% healthy and never struggle. Well they're already injured and all of them are struggling and they don't have a single piece of depth to help them.

That's not "all-in". That's called "lying" when you say you're all-in.
