I think the balancing philosophy they are trying to stick to is using large strokes when balancing the pool. Klein had good fodder and Reinhardt is still a top tier unit but they got demoted like everyone else. That's why I don't think they will demote any 5* only units until they are ready to demote Hector. As for how well selective demotion would work, I guess it would depend on who they demote. My impression is that cherrypicking the 5* units that aren't any good to demote would lower the quality of the summoning pool. Like it's common for people to call for Mist to be demoted but they probably don't want to draw her as a 4* unit either (and she would still be 5* for at least another year!). --- Link isn't the only one who kicks ass.
