| Xiahou Shake 03/15/19 11:30:10 AM #47: | Finally saw Vampire's Kiss for the first time last night. I've seen a ton of movies, but hell if I can think of any other film that was as elevated by its lead actor's performance. Without Nic Cage, that movie would be just another moderately clever indie film, but his acting here turns the movie into a non-stop delightful laugh riot. In other news, we're getting close to Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and I'm over halfway through my in-order watch of every Godzilla movie ever made! Last movie was Godzilla vs. Biollante, which was definitely upper crust. Hoping to finish the rest in time, but there are a lot of other things I want to watch, so we'll see how it goes! --- Let the voice of love take you higher, With this gathering power, go beyond even time! ...
