My goal this year is to write two reviews a week, which includes going to the theater twice a week (AMC A-List has been good for that). I...can't wait until we get out of the early months. January and February really are dry months (thank god for the delayed art film releases being a saving grace). Last week's movies were Wandering Earth, the current best-selling movie of the year (an amount almost entirely isolated to China), and Fighting With My Family. Wandering Earth was mindless nonsense, essentially Roland Emmerich with a Chinese flavor. Fighting With My Family was a standard biography, but it got me to care about a story about the WWE which means it had to be doing its job well. This week will be Captain Marvel, naturally, and...something else. Not sure what. I feel like nothing else major is getting dropped to avoid competition, so probably something I've been meaning to avoid...
