It's a step up from "godly being" to "slight reality warper". So it's on the Giygas side of the scale rather than the Lavos side. Only instead of praying the evil away, he just punches it and hits it with spells. In DDS, Demi-Fiend is a bonus boss. The 'normal encounter' theme plays during this fight. Cielo, from DDS who flies faster than a jet plane, can easily be one-shotted by him. Oh also DMC1 Dante, like literally DMC1 Dante, is a mid-game encounter for him and he wins.
