I played it, the other game (I guess it would count as a second game, but I won't deign to give this two entries), and then developer commentary expecting more, and then checked around to see if this was it. Apparently, it was. And it had an 88 on Metacritic? What? I'm just... I don't get the hype. I don't know if it influenced things that came after where looking back after playing things like Life is Strange makes it look like a historic relic, but it was 2012 and I think we had weird artsy non-linear games many times before that. And because of the way it was structured, how short it was, and that there was a second game unlocked after that was almost just as short... I thought it would've been some kind of deep dive game where you explore and unlock more levels (like thirty of them) and it would be like Portal meets those mid-00s ARGs where to actually beat it, there would be a huge amount of thought and insane puzzles and... ugh, that was just disappointing. --- "In my headcanon, some staffer saw Trump pull out his phone and start typing so they just Terry Tate Office Linebacker'd him out of his shoes." - FFD ...
