There were some slow bits (the beginning of the game, Orzammar), but overall one hell of an experience. Lot of nice choice-making elements, too. I know it's Bioware, but I did not expect it to feel as impactful as it did overall. There were a lot of moments where character loss was a real thing, and it made me play careful. The characters were quite interesting, though pretty normal I suppose. Zevran was the only one I outright hated having around. Leilana was my romance, and she, Morrigan, and Shale were most often my party members. Never got much of a handle on playing the warriors (City Elf Rogue myself) and they seemed to fall more often than my mages and archers in the early and mid game. And of course my doggo was awesome to have around. I may play again down the line as a different character, probably as a mage, but being a Rogue and being able to unlock everything myself is probably what I love most in these games.
