The only reason Subway is as popular as it is is saturation.

ROFL, people actually think this. Like if it was absolutely dog shit food people would keep going there simply because it's all over the place. roooofl.

Umm, yea? Why is that LOL worthy?

If the only food in your fridge is whale blubber and the closest store is 200 miles away, doesn't matter how sick of it you are, you are going to be eating whale blubber.

ROOOOFL, because people won't go 5 more blocks down the road for something that isn't blubber in your crazy scenario.

Again, why is that so weird? People are creatures of habit and convenience, it is very well proven that even if there is a better option 5 minutes out of their way they will almost always go for the one that more convenient. It is why fast food is as convenient and plentiful as it is. Someone leaves work and says "man, when I get home I have to cook up that food. I am so tired...Oh look, Subway! I'll just grab something there!"

I dont think thats it. Convenience is great. But people mostly go for convinent food they like. Especially since other fast food chains that are big or have a lot of chain are also around... Most Subways are usually close to another fast food restaurant, as well. Not to mention, most Subways dont have a drive -thru. And if it was about how much time they are spending, its usually longer there then other places. Though, the app could save time. But then so could save time at most places...
