I expected a 3D abomination, like all those terrible games that were released in the early 3D days But it was fine! boss battles were too long because the American version was buffed for some reason, but otherwise they were good Not being able to Unlock X until halfway was dumb Also X8 is a game I played a few years ago and I thought it wasn't really good. Upon replaying it I think it's one of the best X games. Yes, it only has 6 "regular" Maverick stages because the Ice level and the Man-O-War stages are 3D vehicle racings, but the 6 regular stages are pretty damn good Also a lot of secrets too collect, 3 playable characters that all play differently from each other and has their own skills, and probably the best boss battles in the series X1>X2>X3>X8>X4>X5>X7>X6 --- wololo ...
