| TheMikh 12/29/18 3:11:38 AM #62: | CrimsonRage posted... there aren't that many actual communists. a lot of the people accused of being communists are people who have some socialist or socialist-lite ideas. and contrary to right-wing propaganda socialism is not the same as communism. very few card carrying communists far less ansyns, who in my book offer the only hypothetical path to some semblance of stateless communism and doesn't end in marxist-leninist ****ery but there are a hell of a lot of totally not communist socialists that would like to see all wealth and capital redistributed by a government "by the people, for the people" and which silences dissension considered harmful to society which sounds a hell of a lot like communism (edit: or state communism, anyway) if i may offer a parallel: a lot of the alt-right might not claim to be nazis, but guess what they are --- ...
