Dead Cells was my favorite overall I think. Celeste was really good, Octopath was better than I hoped it'd be (but it's not a game I'd recommend to either of you). Those are probably the three I liked the most, though I didn't play a whole ton of games this year. Not too much was released that appealed to me, unfortunately. There's stuff like the Yakuza games, but I still have to start that series at some point and figure out why people call it the best ongoing JRPG series. DQ11 was pretty great up to the end of part 2, but then part 3 kinda ruined it. Ah well. --- Congrats to Advokaiser on winning the 2018 Guru Contest! All the stars in the sky are waiting for you. ...
