I'm aware they exist but I rarely hear about it, can you guess why? It's because of the media bubble you choose to seclude yourself in. Fox News will actively avoid reporting on the latest news if it doesn't conform to the message they want to push and will actively search out every instance of random ass holes doing the sort of thing you talk about. The stuff you probably find online is even worse.
