If Nightmare and Siegfried are truly two different entities, one of whom is a spirit that possesses the other for some time (but not all the time), then that's a different situation compared to a character who is just a disguise. The fact that they get separated in Smash games (I haven't played them so I don't know) is the best argument for them being different, but I think you couldn't really argue for Zero Suit Samus being a different character than Samus. Sure, Sheik has a different name, but if the character was called "Disguised Zelda" instead, would you have any case? If Zero Suit Samus was suddenly called "Zero Hunter" as an alias instead, would that make her any more of a different entity? ... Copied to Clipboard! |
