I still can't stand to look at myself in photos, but there have been enough experiences to tell me that it's just my perception being off. No one has a good gauge on what they look like. I think this is the case for some. My perception of myself seems to be skewed from abuse, depression, and never having any romantic relationships. I feel ugly, but lots of people say otherwise.
